Welcome to Horndean Hawks football clubs, website. We hope the information contained within this site, is informative and gives you a flavour of our history and our aspirations for the future of our club. We believe that our family friendly approach fosters, an introduction into the game and our coaches develop a competitive spirit and a desire to win, with respect and fair play embraced at all levels from academy to our successful adult team.
Our club welcomes newcomers, both players or volunteers that have the belief they can coach a team, or put administration skills to use, supporting our growing numbers of teams. We offer courses free of charge and a firm belief that their is an opportunity for local people, regardless of ability, from any age, boys and girls, who want to take up the challenge of joining a growing club. We are working, closely with the FA, the leagues our teams play in and the local authorities to ensure our club has strong foundations, within our community. The Hawks are also in the final stages of acquiring FA Charter status, giving us within Horndean Hawks and those wishing to join our club assurances, that together, we are heading in the right direction.
In 2011 our club held its first tournament, which proved to be an enormous success, without settling only on the good feedback, we have embraced the constructive comments and look forward to 2012 being an event that all participants and competitors speak of with pride. This event, along with the clubs end of season presentation evening and fun day, team tours, are just some of the activities that pull our 250 members closer together and hopefully make us stronger as a club.
